With conveyancing services you only realise the importance of having a good lawyer when it became more complicated than originally expected; which seems to be most times! QS Lockings were great throughout my sale & purchase. But when things got difficult Lesley was an absolute rock – always one step ahead of the 2 other law firms in the chain, and there for me with sensible, calm advice. She did just what you look for in a great lawyer – she lifted the stress from me. I received an excellent service at a very reasonable price - and I'm glad I did not make the mistake of going for an online bargain basement service.

I was very impressed at how professionally everything was handled including how helpful and friendly your reception staff always made me feel, welcomed and were so helpful and friendly. I will use your practice again when I decide to sell in 2 years.

We were directed to QS Lockings by our mortgage provider and found their service to be second to none. After our initial house move fell through, we decided on a change and had no hesitation in re-appointing them even though it meant we would incur an additional charge from the bank in question. The member of staff dealing with our case was professional, polite and friendly. Quality Solicitors Lockings Hull were recommended by Estate Agents in East London, in February 2016, to carry out the conveyancing for us in the purchase of a leasehold flat. After a shaky start with poor communication from Lockings, Stephen Dettman, Senior Technical Solicitor, took over our file.

Since then Stephen has been fantastic, sorting out the legal side of our purchase including ensuring that the three leases titles involved , some of which were incorrect and out of date at times of previous sales of the flat, are all now correct. He has also overseen the legal negotiations of a new lease extension for us. At all times he has been exceptionally professional and has worked very hard on our behalf for over a year, dealing with other solicitors and agencies with great efficiency. He has been very proactive and always had deadlines firmly under control, dealing with things well in advance. The whole process has seemed very complicated to us, but Stephen has always made himself available and taken the time to explain, with great patience (often more than once), everything to us in detail by phone and email.

We are extremely grateful to him, and are sure we would not have had such a successful outcome without his professional help and support.
