Emma is a Solicitor Advocate with over 19 years’ experience in Family Law. Emma qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and became a member of Children’s Panel Solicitor in 2012.
Emma specialises in public law children proceedings, where social services are involved, in particular cases involving non-accidental injury and deprivation of liberty. As well as representing children, Emma represents parents and other family members in care proceedings were she has successfully challenged the local authorities plans on behalf of her client’s resulting in families being reunited.
Emma is an excellent advocate and provides continuity of representation for her clients in all courts
Emma has been involved in high profile cases for example Re S (Child in care: Unregistered Placement)  EWHC 1012 (Fam) before Mr Justice Cobb and the Court of Appeal case of Re S-H (A Child)  EWCA Civ 493.
